Robots Have Feelings Too

Something happened yesterday
     That we'll be dealing with today
          I regret to inform you sadly
Some one put in a complaint
     To Robot Resources today
          A machine has been treated badly
Robots have feelings too
     Just not like me and you
          Usually boredom ... or rage
It seems some wires have been crossed
     Resolution has been lost
          They think it's still on the server
All the robot's hopes are dashed
     It seems the server has just crashed
          He'll have to file another
Robots have feelings too

     And now ... disappointment
So much ... disappointment
          Robot ... disappointment
     Electro-mechanical ... disappointment
Disappointed -- automaton
     He switched himself off
But something keeps switching him on
     and on
          and on
               and on
                    and

     Just not like me and you
          Usually boredom ... or rage
(Now all the children!)
