It started with an accoustic guitar and a notebook in Jim's home studio, with strumming out a few chords and scratching down lyrics with a black Sharpie. It stared with "Robots Have Feeling Too" and "Four Step Program".
It evolved ... plodding through multiple failed titles and art concepts, rejected mixes and songs, collaberative and independent workings, debate, and refinement; all under the constant opression of an impending deadline.
It ended up as glow sticks and self improvement, condemnation and disdain for modern life -- as mechanical fetish sex, broken English, suicide, and interplanetary passion.
It ended up as a spider eating a robot.
